Where to get started with Dc Comics?!
Question: Where to get started with Dc Comics!?
Hi, I am a new comic reader and want to read Dc comics, but I don't know where to start!. My favorite is batman, followed by Flash!. But I just can't seem to find a good comic to start at, rather than just getting the newest without knowing what has been going on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well you will have this problem of starting in the middle no matter what unless you can afford Detective comics #27!.
However, I would suggest looking for a story arc!. These are usually identified with a subtitle accompanied by a number!. So you would look for BATMAN #(add number here) and somewhere on the cover will be a title like Robin's girlfriend #1 of 4!. These mini-series are usually a good place to start!.
Other than just dive right in!. Your problem will be less what happened before and more what happens in other titles that affect the Batman series!. The idea of continuity is less in the DC universe than Marvel's, but it can still be daunting and frustrating for new readers!. Just buy your books and read them and worry about back issues and new titles as your interest and wallet allow!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I just recently started reading some DC comics, here's what I've read:
Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, The Sinestro Corps War, The New Frontier, The Dark Knight Returns and The Dark Knight Strikes Again!.
Next I'm looking forward to reading The Watchmen, Countdown, Final Crisis, and some more Batman, like The Killing Joke, The Long Halloween and Year One, and maybe Green Lantern: Rebirth!.
Sorry, but I don't know any good Flash storylines!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
