I don't remember the guy's name, but it was a normal human with a sniper rifle!. Though whether or not he's actually dead is questionable, as SpiderWoman told Ms!. Marvel that SHIELD swept in before he died, put him in stasis in one of their medical facilities (while they try to figure out how to save him), and created a clone body to "die" and be buried!. So far, though, there's no evidence in the comics to back up this claim!.
