Question: Why not create a new villain for batman 3!?
What if Christopher Nolan and his team used a new villain for the next Batman Movie that we have never heard of, how would you feel about that!? Would you guys still go see the next batman!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The reason, like others have stated, is that batman was a comic before it was a movie!. The director can change it some, but he cannot just go and make it completely different, other wise it wouldn't really be a batman movie!. Now it is going to be hard to cast a new villain for batman 3, especially with the way Nolan has made the past 2 movies!. Choosing a dark and realistic villain is going to be a tuf one, especially seeing as how a large amount of batman's villi ans are cool but absurd and/or impossible!. Then the ones that don't fall into that category just wont be strong enough to be a main villain!. also i think that Nolan doesn't really want to reuse any villains from previous movies!. Kind of got off topic there but i think i got my point across!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Actually, we are well past number 3 (the Val Kilmer one, remember)!.
And the attraction for most people is the action; but the hardcore fans of Batman are the ones who read the comic books (and usually own most or all of them)!. And these are the ones that do most advertising for the movies, and they usually do it for free!.
They want so much to talk about it and find out info about it that they put all kinds of information online for all to see!. This is free advertising!. So the producers do not want to tick these guys off!.
And I can think of nothing more likely to tick them off than making up a new villain for Batman!. They don't like it when producers take too many liberties and break away from the basic storyline of the character!.
