Question: For the people who have seen The Dark Knight, why do people think that Harvey Dent!.!.!.!?
is alive!. He's Dead!!!! You see him die in the movie, they had a funeral!. They even talk about covering up all the murders he's committed!. How can they cover up his murders if he's alive!? People would notice he's in jail, or Arkham!.
You either DIE a hero, or live long enough to become the villian!.

youre right, but then ending was kind of fast and confusing if you didnt pay attention or watch batman begins!.

Uhm, don't you realize it was a fake funeral of Harvey Dent!? Batman and Gordon did that because Gotham City was on right track with minimum crime rate because most of the criminal in Gotham already being locked up inside Arkham, and the person who did that was none other than the WHITE KNIGHT of Gotham -- Harvey Dent! They don't want to create a mass chaos (which is what The Joker intended to do) if people realized Harvey turned villain!. It would make Harvey's works to locked up those criminal and villain worthless thus putting Gotham City with high criminal rates once again!.!.!. That quote

actually mean Harvey Dent will be the hero--White Knight of Gotham while his alter ego Two Face will lived!. Harvey Dent is 'dead' while Two Face is very much alive! Probably locked inside Arkham and later escaping from it on the next movie!. Batman made that choice because he probably was hoping for Two Face to change in the future!. Batman and Gordon thought if the Gotham City know their--White Knight--the symbol of justice for them had been corrupted or turned villain, Gotham people would lose faith and the Joker would have won the 'battle'!. Note that Batman will never killed his villain!. That was Batman's code/rule stated by Joker and Sal Maroni on the movie!.!.!.
In movie point of view, I doubt Nolan would end Two Face character just like that!. It'd be such a waste!. Two Face only committed a small amount of crime/killing (compared to what he did in the comics) in Dark Knight movie!. He'd probably be one of the main villain on the next Batman movie!.
*There WILL be third (on this new franchise) Batman movie!. If you watched carefully there's a couple of hint about the next villain!. There's a hint about The Riddler because the guy who knows Batman true identity (and hate Bruce Wayne) name was Mr Reese, pronounced Mysteries --hinted-- The Riddler!. I'm not sure about Catwoman since Nolan already stated there will be no catwoman, no robin and no penguin on this new franchise (kinda relieved with no Robin there)!. The hint about Catwoman was when Lucius Fox commented to Bruce Wayne about the new batsuit!. Bruce asked Fox will the suit goes fine with dog bites and Fox replied it should be fine against cat --hinted-- Catwoman!.!.!. This was only a rumor and theory on the internet, so don't take it seriously!. The movie was only out for 2 weeks, it was wayyy to early to talked about the third movie or the next villain!.!.!. However, it's already confirmed about the third Batman movie!.
*Dude, everyone can alter and change the content on Wikipedia if they wanted to!. We can have this speculation all day if we want!.!.!. but lets just wait for the confirmation from Nolan about this!.
