Question: Are Essential Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk, etc!. good for first time superhero comic readers!?
I'm starting to read superhero comics, and might get essential (400+pages) Comic books!. Are they good 4 newcomers!? If not, what other ones are good for starters!? Out of:

yes they are good because they are great value for what you get!. But personally, I like quality paper so I don't get them!.

the essential DC comic books are pretty good for newcomers but I wouldn't recommend the essential marvel comics for new readers just b/c they are black and white and they are written in outdated language!. But I would recommend ultimate series, Planet Hulk, and Civil war for beginners!.
