Okay, I didn't watch/rarely watch the anime, however I can still answer this question since I collect all the manga!. Anyway, I have to refer to Volume 6 (Haven't open this volume for a while though XD) for this question!.!.!. but first to the person above, Mihawk DID used his sword to fight against Zoro!.!.!. refer to Chapter 51

As for your question, NO, Mihawk never gave his sword to Zoro (or anyone if that's matter)!. However, Zoro did get a sword (Kitetsu Sword or Cursed Sword later), you can refer to Volume 11 chapter 97, I won't post that link here since I don't want to spoil it for you!.!.!. You're almost there XD don't worry
He also got Meitou Shuusui (belong to a samurai and one of the 21 great swords)
This is on Volume 48 chapter 467! So you must really be patient for this one! Zoro claimed that he wanted that sword in chapter 462 FYI!.!.!. he got the sword 'officially' in chapter 467Www@Enter-QA@Com
