If I remember correctly, that issue is from 1968 and was the first full length Hulk story after he had appeared in "Tales to Astonish" for going on three year and "The Incredible Hulk" series kept the numbering from TtA!.
Since Loki cheated and turned Hulk back into Banner, I would assume that Hulk would have made the leap (he only had to jump across the chasm, not from the bottom to the top) or Loki would not have interfered!. Or at least Loki assumed the Hulk was up to the task!. At this late date, there is no way to know for certain if the Hulk could have made the leap or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hulk easily could have made it!. I read that issue about a month or two ago and the chasm wasn't very wide at all!. Back then he was able to jump a few miles in one leap on Earth!. As far as I know, Asgard's gravity isn't much different from Earth's!. The New Mutants were able to walk around with no problems when they visited Asgard!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
