Uhm, this is very interesting question! At least for me since the question really related with me personally!. Thank you for asking this one though!.!.

I for once (or we, I know I'm not the only one buying the volume manga here) buy the volume version because the volume has more detailed and sometimes re-draw (ie; HxH) stuff by the mangaka!. The volume also has some extra you wouldn't get to read online (ie; SBS in One Piece, 4 panel/strip comics of FMA, Hot Gimmick Extra in HG etc)

Uhm, okay, most volume usually comes out once a month or a couple month!. In my country for example, One Piece usually comes out once a month, Naruto is really late in my country, it come out once after a couple/three month! The most 'annoying' (in a good way) volume that come out very late is Hunter X Hunter! At first they come out steadily once a month!. Later it come out once after couple of month, then it's 3 month!.!.!. and then!.!.!.!. after TWO YEARS of waiting!.!.!.!. the Volume 24 finally comes out! They've released Vol 25 in Japan and I was waiting for that volume to be translated in my country for almost 8 month now T,T I finished Death Note couple years ago!.!.!. they pretty much come out every two month except for Vol 13 How To Read!.!.!. I have to buy the English version since my country didn't translated that volume!.

Sorry for my long introduction though XD Just to make it clear manga volume usually didn't come out every week unless you decided to buy Shonen Jump weekly magazine (like most of my friends)!. However that wasn't a single/one title volume version, it's a compilation of more than 5 different title of manga in one magazine and they released it once a week( or once in two week in my country)!. Kinda like the comic version of onemanga or any free website!. The only different is they usually published a week or 2 week late from the internet leak, which mean website like onemanga will be having the most current update of a chapter!. Crap, I did a long introduction again! Sorry! Couldn't help it XD

Okay, here's the answer for your question!.!.!. there pretty much vary each week since I buy a lot of manga!. Usually in one week I'll buy 7-8 manga volume!. The least volume I buy in one week would be 2-3 volume!. It depends actually, whenever I'm on my way home I'd stop by at the manga outlet to look for the latest manga volume!. If they didn't released it yet I'll start buying a new manga title to add into my collection (The most recent would be Keikashi manga volume)!. Let say one volume cost me $5-8 , pretty much I spent up to $40-50 per week!. My country didn't used USD though and FYI one USD would be times four in my country!.

On the weekend, I'll go to Borders and survey the English version of the manga volume!. I buy and collect the English version of Bleach, Shaman King, Initial D and Death Note!. I buy the English version of Shaman King and Initial D because there wasn't a translated version of it!. I buy English version of Death Note since the translated version kinda ruin my collection by not translating How To Read (yes I'm kinda perfectionist)!. SO, I have to start over T,T (I finally completed this version earlier this year though)!. Since my country decided to translated Bleach (finally, thank god!) I'd hold the English version for a while and go with the translated version!. I'll buy the English version if I have extra money and as I stated earlier my country didn't used USD, so one/a single english version manga volume would cost me $30-40 to buy!! I can buy 6-8 translated version with that money! Which is why I decided to buy the English version once a month (yes, I'm kinda procrastinator too XD) unlike the translated version--7-8 a weeks! XD

Uhm!.!.!. I lost count how much I spent for a manga volume each week, but judging from my room (which surrounded by over 50+ different title of manga) I'd say roughly I spent between $40-60 per weeks (not including the English version, my local comics and US comics like Marvel, DC, Vertigo etc)!. Whenever I has extra money I'll buy the English version just for fun XD and whenever I'm broke I'd hang out at Borders and read it for free XD

*Just like the person above, I only knew the existence of Onemanga earlier this year! Damn! No wonder I got confused why so many people know so much about Naruto, One Piece etc although they didn't buy the volume!. XD But hey, thanks to onemanga, I get a chance to read the latest Hunter X Hunter chapter (two years of waiting is a torture ya know!?)Www@Enter-QA@Com

My junior year of highschool, I spent over $2000 in 6 months on manga!. I'm half the reason why the manga section in our towns small Borders has gotten to be as big as it has!. I haven't shopped there very often since then, but all the long-time employees still know me!. I've actually probably helped them sell manga by helping grandma's and teachers in the manga section!. Obviously, that was before I knew about the internet, but I still buy Fruits Basket and Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden and any new yuri-based series (Strawberry Panic-esque)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depending on the releases, I usually spend 30 bucks in one trip in my local bookstore!. And that's only two manga! Trust me, you'll get easily ripped off by purchasing the $13 manga from Dark Horse publisher!. I don't buy per week, but it's more like a month since I have to wait for the new series to come out!. xDWww@Enter-QA@Com

i read all of my manga online first to see if i like it and if i really like it then i buy it so i spend about 10 dollars about every two weeks on a new manga!! my favorite is vampire knightWww@Enter-QA@Com

$0- I borrow from my friends/read them online/watch the anime/ I only bought 1 manga in my past and that was to replace a friend's
