Question: Would the manga Elfen Lied be considered a tragedy!?
I know this might be a dumb question but according to anime news network It's genres are: action, drama, horror, science fiction, supernatural!. I've read up to chapter 101 in english of the series and I think that Kouta may be dead, making it definitely count as a tragedy, since kinda killing this mainish character definitely puts some of the other mainish characters like Lucy into ruin if not ultimately dead because of this change in the story like other characters from the series!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I defiantly think it could be considered a tragedy, but they don't really list tragedy as a normal genre!. I think if I had to list it as a genre I'd list it as sci fi because while it was definatly action and I can see drama sci fi is one of those specialty genres that trumps ones like action!. What I don't get is why people list it as horror, I mean there was nothing horror like about it!. I can't consider Lucy and her killing horror like at all cause it was just too dam smeksi!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
