Question: Which character is more interesting: Lelouch or Light Yagami
People asked me this and so I want to know what you think!.
They are the most similar characters I can think of so: Who is more interesting!? I am not exactly asking who you like better, but who you think is a more interesting character, as in unique among the average/normal anime protagonists!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Okays, here's what I think:
personally, both characters have the idea to create a better world-meaning, that both have good intentions in mind!. Light wants to rid the world of criminals whereas Lelouch wants his sister to be happy!. Ok, fair enough!. They both obtain the power to make these dreams reality: Death Note and Geass respectively!. Both end up becoming crazy due to this power and both use people to achieve their goals!.
However, the similarities stop around here!. Personally, i find lelouch to be a more interesting character simply because, unlike Light, he is not completely obsessed by his power!. sure they are both psychotic, but to me, Light seems to be drifting from his original goal-he has gone from wanting to making a better world to wanting to become a God!. lelouch, however still has the same goal-a better life for Nunally!.
Thus, I feel that even though Light and Lelouch have so much in common, i find lelouch to be a more interesting character simply because i find it interesting to see his character development as obstacles block his way from achieving his goal!. as for light, his goal changed in my eyes, so I kinda loss interest in him!. There really wasn't anything new coming from him, whereas Lelouch is constantly having to adapt to the changes around him!. Plus, I find the fact that he is a brittanian prince leading the revolt to be very interesting (despite being somewhat cliche)

Lelouch is a much more interesting character!. Light is such a psychotic sociopath that I'm not convinced he understands the concept of consequences!. Lelouch clearly does, but believes he is smart enoguh to predict every ripple of consequences from his actions, and is severely shaken when he fails at this!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well!.!.!.Lelouch had to leave his family, go by a different last name, has to care for his blind sister, and leads the Dark Knights as Zero!. Light just writes names in a notebook and has to deal with "OMG it has to go liek planned or else ppl will noes that i'm, like, Kira!"
