The Disney version is quite different, where the mermaid is Ariel and her hair is red instead of blonde!. The story is also happier than the original!.
I don't know if it mentions her hair color in the original story, but the anime version is supposed to be very close to the original so I guess her first hair colour would be blonde!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
