LOVELY COMPLEX! - a love story between a boy and a girl!. The girl, Risa Koizumi, is 172 cm (5' 7") tall—much taller than the average Japanese girl!. The boy, Atsushi Otani, is 156 cm (5'1 and a half") —way below the height of the average Japanese boy!. OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB - Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo!. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests!. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy!.Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six extremely attractive male studentswho spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit!. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over and break a vase valued at ￥8,000,000, estimated to be US$80,000!.In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and is constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up!. i've already watched Fushigi Yuugi & man,that's laden with romance & comedy!. If you wanted real love that overcomes time & trials then i guess you'd like this one!.
as what the other member suggested Peach Girl is kinda like romance story but with lots of twist!. if Fushigi Yuugi is about 'fiction' then Peach Girl is suppose to be an ordinary life with extraordinary twist!.
Fruits Basket is funny, but romantic!.!.!.hmmm!.!.!.i guess in some way it is!.!.maybe we can say that it doesnt have a 'heavy' romance-content (sounds like potato chips,huh!?!.!.lol)!. There is a hint of romance of it!.!.!.if you included 'crushes' & infatuation!.!.!.
Tokimeki Memorial Only Love is kinda like Fruits Basket!. a bit funny & not too heavy on the romance-but still it might tickle your rommantic side & funny bone!.

A poor girl stands up to the 4 meanest, richest, cutest, most popular boys in school, they decide to make her life hell!. one of them isnt as mean and she immidaiatly falls in love with him, even though he's already in love with another girl!. but the leader of the group falls in love with her also, wich of course causes some drama!.
