Welcome to N!.H!.K, you could call it a romance anime, but it deals with a alot of social problems and out of it a relationship forms from dark and cynical circumstances, I would tell you in what way it ends but it would be better if you see it for yourself :3Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like Avatar the Last Airbender, but it's not a true Anime show, but it does has comedy and battle scenes (though the battle scenes aren't guy-ish)
It does have a few romance things that come out in series 2 and 3, but since it it TVY7, there isn't a lot of it!.
(Though one of the main male characters did have only underwear on and was calling to a female character from a tent in one episode)
I don't know what Mangas are though :(
