Question: Question about YuYu Hakusho!?
I'm currently watching YuYu Hakusho and I noticed that characters always say that Keiko is Yusuke's girlfriend!. I noticed they are kinda close and they care for each other but they always say that they r childhood friends!.
So are they going out!? or they are just friends who hasn't clear their love for each other!?

If you noticed, in Japanese culture/life style they always assuming a childhood friends as boyfriend & girlfriend in the future!. The people around will always pairing a childhood friends together in Japanese culture!. This 'theme' was overused by a lot of mangaka out there!.
Since I dunno which episode you are, I think I'll spoil it a bit for you because anime didn't show a lot of scene from the last volume!. In the last volume Yuusuke open a Ramen Stall and sometimes Keiko will drop by at the stall!. One day, Yuusuke jokingly said something like "You know, if you wanted to I can cook for you everyday" and Keiko was blushing after heard the statement!. Yuusuke also asked Keiko to marry him after 3 years!. He also said "I love you" which Keiko replied indifferently "Yeah, me too"!. The anime also didn't showed the last scene where the two kiss each other at the beach!.
I suggest you read the manga because the anime cut it short and didn't showed most of the scene from the last volume!. It's not that important but the last volume kinda showed you what happen to the character in Yuyu Hakusho like Hiei giving a birthday present to 'someone', Keiko asked for Yuusuke help for solving a mystery in her high school/college (although technically Kurama solved the case), some romance about several character in Yuyu Hakusho and a lot other!. I wanted to type all the detail here but since I'm not sure what episode you're right now, I don't want to spoil it for you!.
If you decided to read the manga, I suggest you buy the volume because I've noticed the manga they upload online (at onemanga, not sure about other free reading manga website) they left out a chapter about Kurama and Hiei past story where they showed how the two met each other and a girl named Maya who had a crush to Kurama during primary school!. They're not technically boyfriend and girlfriend (as in Yusuke has never asked Keiko out), but they both like each other ( in the first few episodes Yusuke thinks he's given up his second chance in life by saving her and Keiko almost died to save Yusuke!.!.!. It's soooo obvious)!. The characters call Keiko Yusuke's girlfriend to make him upset (a "get his goat" type of thing)!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
