Why do anime fans call Itachi-kun Nii-san? and other nicknames?!

Well, they call him 'Itachi Nii-san' coz Sasuke calls him that!. Nii-san is a honorific that Japanese use when addressing their older brother!. Itachi is called Itachi Nii-san by the fans to show their affection towards him~ xDD

I call him Itachi Nii-san too ^^

Jiraiya maybe!? Naruto and the fans call him 'Ero Sannin' (Perv Sannin)

and Orochimaru is called 'Oro'

well some just call him Nii-San just as a nickname as because Sasuke used to call his brother Nii-San the suffix Nii-San means brother,and since Sasuke had looked up to his brother at one time thats what he would call him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its a japanese formality, like putting mr!. or mrs!. before someones name, it sometimes shows respect, or that you are friends
