Is Frank Miller really great or really bad?!
Question: Is Frank Miller really great or really bad!?
I've read a few of his books and seen the movies subsequently based on them, but I've listened to people both describe him as a genius and as a bad writer, what is your opinion!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

He's sort of hit and miss!. Some of his stuff is over the top and not to my taste, but then he comes out with unique work like "Sin City" and "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns"!. I like his writing better than his artwork!. His run on Daredevil was really, really good, amongst my favorite!. Hell, the Daredevil movie (which was crap) borrowed a lot of story and plot lines from Frank Miller's run on the Daredevil comic book!. He wrote "Robocop", which was pretty good at the time it was released!. He's definitely had an impact on comic books, but to call him a genius would be pushing it!. The only ones I would say fall in that category would be Jack Kirby and Alan Moore!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
He really is one of the best directors I've ever seen!. He may be disliked because of his usual genre of filming (A lot of gruesome fighting and sort of cheesy music to good passionate love-making scenes) This man is a genius and may you not let anyone tarnish your memories of the man who adds such phenomenal movies to filming history!. I personally can't stand Frank Millers books, I can't understand why people think he's a genius!. 300, Sin City, Batman Begins, they were all pretty much terrible and contrived!.
