1-its new!. If you watch a animated show from America you will notice all the bad puns and cliches!. When your new to watching animes, every cliches may seem refreshing and creative!. also, some of the culture aspects!. While watching anime is noway to learn about Japan it can be a way to gain interest in it!. You might also like to try Japanese foods that you see your favorite characters eating!.
2!.-More genres-American animated shows are often for children and are all comedy!. Romance, fantasy, history and even baking can be genres of anime!. More choices for more age groups!. Everything from cute magical girls and creatures for child to deep and complex plots for adults!.
3!.Aesthetics-Magical girl transformations, furries, mythological creatures and more!. Anime appeals to all senses of aesthetics!. From steam punk to cute!. Aesthetics are not everything, but they do help!.

Personally, what I love about anime is the way it is drawn, the different genres, the stories/plotlines, and that unlike with nearly all western cartoons, it's not like the anime viewer is being spoken to as if they were a five year old! Anybody from any age group will find an anime that they love!
