1!.Well, Gaara said goodbye to Naruto and his friends and resumed his place as the Kazekage of the sand hidden village!.
2!.Now he is heading to konaha/hidden leaf village to capture Naruto!.
3!.I don't know,we don't have any news of him until he planted orochimaru's cells into him and give his data on akatsuki sakura(not too sure)
4!.He is still trying to decode the message

Well, Gaara said goodbye to Naruto and resumed his place as the Kazekage!. We can see he still has his control over sand, as the grains nudge Naruto's hand to shake with Gaara's!. So he probably went back to normal, however, we don't know if he can still control sand as well as he could, because now Shukaku's been extracted from him, it may have an effect on his manipulative abilities!.
He hasn't appeared since, neither on the manga or the t!.v series!. T^T

not too sure about gaara, however pein goes on to attack konoha and he hopes to capture naruto
