Yes there is such a thing as anime poisoning and it afflicts nearly every person that watches anime!. With this, culturally, people wither and die needless deaths!.
3 ways to spot anime poisoning:
1!. Your dvd collection has more animes than Best Buy!.
2!. You know more about _______ than yourself!.
3!. Your room looks more like a manga shop than a room that a normal anime watcher would be like!.

I'm right there with K&K on this one!.
*I push my glasses up in a really dramatic fashion (do a google image search for "anime adjusting glasses" without quotes)!. I imagine that if I do it right my glasses will shine white for a moment!.
* I spontaneously assume anime poses to be dramatic such as holding a cell phone like L does in Death Note, putting my hand over my eye like Lelouch in Code Geass, doing the Hare Hare Yukai dance, etc!.
*I know the lyrics to at least 200 anime themes!.
*Traveled an hour across town due to reports that a certain shop sold melon-pan (Arrived just in time and got the last one they had :D)
25% of my book shelf is manga but mostly in the form of old Shonen Jumps that I can't bring myself to throw away!. The most prominent things in my room are 3 wallscrolls (One for Haruhi Suzumiya, one for Fullmetal Alchemist, and one for Naruto), and of course my completed Special Edition Box Set of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya!. So I suppose I have anime AIDS!.
also I sometimes do the "Kawaii desu neeeeeeeeeeeeee :3" sometimes but only to creep people out!. A male otaku using that phrase is!.!.!.!.undesirable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do watch and read anime and manga day and night but I don't own any DVDs and I only have 7 manga volumes!. I don't believe someone can go that far!. And if there is there are I can't imagine that many people like that!.!.!.=\Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am not too sure, I think the combination of me and my brother's anime collection would have us suffer from anime poisoning!. Possibly an OAD, Obsessive Anime Disorder!.
1!. Well, I do buy most of my anime DVDs from Best Buy!. I currently have 47 in my room, and my brother has 62 that he owns all to himself!. My family and I still live in the same house, so I could say that my brother and I have 109 DVDs in total!. They're all the classics that I keep re-watching, like 5 collection boxes of Dragon Ball Z, a couple of InuYasha DVDs, 2 collection boxes of Yu Yu Hakusho, and more!. The classic anime DVDs are mainly my brother's!. The DVDs I have are more modern, like I have Eureka Seven, a Fruits Basket collection box, all the Death Note DVDs, all of the Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs, and definitely a ton more!. Some of them are incomplete, like how I only have DVDs 2 and 3 of Tsubasa Revoir Chronicles and 1 DVD of Burst Angel!.
2!. I'm positive that I know more about Bleach much more than myself!. I'm still able to name each and every squad captain and every squad captain and vice captain [e!.c: Hitsugaya Toushiro and Hinamori Momo], all of the Bankai moves [e!.c: Hitsugaya Toushiro - Hyourinmaru], all of the arcs [e!.c: Bounto Arc], and lastly, all of the Espada [e!.c: Grimmjow Jaggerjack]!. I am a huge Bleach fangirl, especially of Hitsugaya Toushiro!. And yes, I watched every episode, including those endless fillers which I always hoped would end, you know, the ones between the 120s and the 130s episodes of Bleach!.
3!. That is 100% true! I have all these Claymore manga books, tons of Fruits Basket, Kingdom Hearts manga, Pita Ten, and!.!.!. I know you will be disappointed in me!.!.!. but I even have some Yaoi manga like The Strongest Magic is Love!. I also have an intense collection of D!. Gray-Man manga that has just recently came out in the United States!. I've already watched almost all of my manga, which were really amusing!. Though, my favorite manga, which was on the top 10 weirdest anime/manga list, is called Ja-Pan!. It's about bakers making bread so they will win a few competitions and be accepted to work in a bakery!. Ha ha! I know, terrible plot, but for some reason I really enjoy it!.
