Question: Old cartoons question!. Woody Woodpecker show, I think!. !?
I'm trying to remember two specific characters from the Woody Woodpecker show!. If I remember correctly - they had different mini-cartoons within the half-hour time slot of the W!.W!. show itself!.
One of the characters was some caveman!. (No, not Captain Caveman) and the other was this little Roman guy!. I remember seeing Woody and Chilly Willy in the cartoon - separate from these two characters cartoons - so I'm pretty sure it's all wrapped up in one big episode!.
Anyone remember this!? I wish I could remember more, but it's just one of those things where it drives you crazy - I'm just trying to remember those two characters!.

I have no idea about a caveman or little roman guy!. I wonder if you are connecting Woody Woodpecker with Bullwinkle cartoons which had Fractured Fairy Tales which had different characters!. Its been a while since I saw either one!. There is the cartoon BC which has cavemen!. And Little Cesar's Pizza has a little roman guy!. I don't know if there are Little Cesar's Pizza's any more!. And I'm not sure if BC was turned into an animated cartoon or not!.
By the way, I think Woody Woodpecker is based on an Ivory-billed Woodpecker, which has gone extinct since the cartoons were made!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The original Woody Woodpecker Show (1957) consisted of his and related characters (Chilly Willy, Andy Panda, etc) theatrical shorts, wraparounds and a live-action piece presented by Walter Lantz himself!. The 1957 show was sponsored by Kellogg’s, the breakfast cereal giant!.
