AKIRA
The film is made in the late 80's but its animation is top notch for its time!. It made a great contribution to the anime industry as a whole!. I think these thoughts were in the minds of the members of the Akira staff:
"Lets make a killer anime from this killer manga, let us invest much money into this anime, let us bring together the greatest anime minds and workers, let this anime set a standard on how to make anime movies, lets make this anime not child watchable to make it known that anime is not generally for kids, let this cyberpunk anime pull non-anime fans into liking this genre!." ^_^Www@Enter-QA@Com

For films, it has to be either Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away; both are sooooo much better than Akira!. Studio Ghibli is king when it comes to anime films!. I would say Spirited Away is the best, but Princess Mononoke is a close second!.
In terms of series, Bleach, hands down!. It has the BEST soundtrack ever and the most characters I've ever seen in one anime (I think there's at least like 38 characters that are relevant to the plot and that you should know about) + it's not one-dimensional like SOOO many other animes (including naruto, death note, inuyasha, dragon ball, etc!.)!. In my opinion, I would have to say that "Akira" is one of the strongest I have seen so far!. Excellent animation, immaculate story line, and very well directed!. Same for the "Akira" manga as well!. However I am torn between that and "Jin Roh, the Wolf Brigade"!. Both are amazingly well made, however, if someone was holding a hot iron to my face and said that I had to choose one or I'd get all the creases taken out of my button up shirt!.!.!. Thats a little to open ended to correctly answer!. Where some anime has weakness, others are strong!. For example best Sci-Fi is Akira hands down, but I still think Nausicca's a better movie overall!. Overall though, most anime is **** and the stuff that's worth watching is incredible!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i hate naruto so much!for real its just to over-hyped and to over-rated in USA!.i mean wats all the fuss about!.naruto is just the worse anime ever!.i used to like naruto to!.but naruto is just plain boring and the plot is random it doesn't make sense!.is just confusing!.naruto was the second anime i ever watched!.well third!.cause one piece was!.but i stopped watching it when and left in the 40th episode!.but then i got bored with naruto and started watching were i left one piece!.its was just awesome!.some people think its kiddish!.they're are wrong!.its just the art its kiddish not the plots and the comprehension of one piece is just awesome!.the best anime ever in my opinion its one piece so far!i am still watching more animes but until now one piece remains my favorite!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's hard to choose a single series out of all of the very good anime I've seen, but if I had to pick just one for the best series ever, I would say that Cowboy Bebop is certainly a strong contender!.
