Question: When does sasuke die!?
Answers:
Sasuke doesn't die in neither the manga or the anime!.
Recently:
Sasuke completes is set out goal,and purpose to kill Itachi and he succeed!. Both Sasuke and Itachi had very powerful and attacks and jutsu!. However both Sasuke and Itachi had received major injuries,also both Itachi and Sasuke were both low/out of chakra as well,which had put both of them in a weak state!.
However,Itachi had revived more damage then Sasuke,did and could not continue the fight for any longer,because of this Itachi had died,and had collapsed on the ground!. However,even before the fight Itachi was at a disadvantage as he had already over use his MS,which had already injured him!. Although before Itachi died,Itachi had transferred his MS to Sasuke,just before he died!.
Afterwords Tobi/Madara goes after Sasuke to pick him up from the battle to bring him back to his own hideout!. Where Tobi/Madara not only reveals himself,but also explains about the leaf villages past,and about Itachi's too!.
Later on we see Sasuke gather up his team again only this time to rename it and call it Hawk,but learning the information that Madara had told him Sasuke now wants to destroy the village for what they did!.
also at this time Sasuke joins the Akatsuki and learns about the tailed demons,and is ordered to capture one which is the 8th tailed demon,but Sasuke has plans of his owns in what to use the 8th tailed demon for instead of bringing it back with him to the Akatsuki to get extracted,and currently Sasuke and his team is fighting the 8th tailed demon right now!.
