The title raging with red tones does not entirely mean that the anime is very bloody as the title implies!. The story progresses slowly but surely with some episodes having minimal or even no sword fights at all!. Some of the episodes even lack in action!. Fans might get a little sidetracked, but just wait and you'll see more of those as the story picks up its pace!. Majority of the other episodes show only slight brutality and bloody scenes that everyone would occasionally expect it to be!.
Blood+ shifts from the usual Japanese locations to tropical Vietnam, London and finally to the skyscrapers of New York where the final episodes take place
Be sure to watch Saya's sword-striking fights between her and her nemesis as Blood+ reaches its 50th episode-the finale, and do not forget to enjoy every drop of blood that comes along!.
Saya Otonashi is a normal high school girl who lives with her family, in which she was adopted in!. She has no idea of her past until she met Hagi(Haji) who happens to be Saya's (past and present)chevalier!.
later in the series, Saya will be mostly seen using a cryptic sword that cannot kill her enemies(the Chiropterans) unless she uses her blood with it!.
