as a comic book fan, i find it kind of annoying to go to the comics & animation section and find nothing but pages upon pages of questions about anime!.

Yeah definately!. Comics & Animation basically means manga and anime here nowadays!. Whenever there's a comic book or cartoon question it's like totally out of place in C&A, which is stupid because that's what C&A was created for!. All the manga and anime fans came along and took over it because they didn't have their own section!. It doesn't make any sense for the comic book and anime questions to be all mixed together!. The comic book experts don't even have a section to be TCs in!.
So yeah, anime and manga should get it's own seperate section!. BTW, as a anime fan I find it annoying seeing a question about Spongebob or Superman next to a question about anime or manga!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Uhm, the question here mainly about anime and I'm not really into anime!. I'm more into manga and comics!. Although I only answered questions here that involved with manga, comics and sometimes about movie and yet, I managed to get TC badge!. I was wondering why am I getting this TC badge from the section at first because this section is 70% anime question, 15% manga, 10% comics, and 5% others and !.!.!.!. I'm like the minority in this section!. Hmmm!.!.!.!.
Another things that kinda 'annoyed' me is whenever I see question asking;
"Which anime character you like most!?" instead of "Which manga character you like most!?" I mean, wasn't it supposed to be 'manga character' because it was originally drawn, made and created by the mangaka, it's not originally comes from the animator right!?
Still, I don't think separate the anime section will be a good idea!. Most teens (majority of user here are born in 1991 and above) watched and love anime!. Although they read the manga, but they didn't really got into manga as much as they do with anime!. To put it in a simple way, people these days has been 'brainwashed' or tends to like watching than reading!.!.!. I'm so glad I'm not one of those!.!.!.!.
p/s Uhm, some of the answerers really irritated me with her comments "BTW, as a anime fan I find it annoying seeing a question about Spongebob or Superman next to a question about anime or manga!." It's a bit contradict with her earlier statements as she mentioned comics and animation is basically manga and anime these days!. I mean, why dissing a comics and a cartoon just because you're anime fan!? Just because you think you're so called 'grown up' and watched anime these days doesn't mean you should forget your past/childhood that used to watched cartoon and read comic books!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Comics & ANIMATION Section!. If you seperated the Animation into its own Section, the Comics Section would die from lack of Participation!. Only occasionally, do you find a Honest to God Comics questions!. Mostly its one of those Who beats who Situations and normally they involve Comic Character Versus Anime Character!. I think Yahoo! would shutdown such a non-producing Section, Hence Comic & Animation Section!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I agree entirely, though I like Anime, I'm extremely picky and selective, Anime fans are fine in my book but I feel most of them on yahoo answers have bad taste, because I'm a little rude and extremely ruthless in my judgments, when I answer questions on like " Best anime" or "Recommend some anime" I get lots of thumbs down!.
