It's possible to have a translator and a subtitler working together, since it's sometimes too much of a job for one person!. The translator will translate the lines, send them to the one doing the movie editing, and have them add them in (which, honestly, is insanely boring!. I tried subbing one episode and gave up)!.
Learning the language is really, really hard!. I've been studying Japanese for three years and I still can't take off the subs in anime!.
As for the editing, that's much easier!. You just need a program like Windows Movie Maker and a bunch of free time!. But in order to get the timing right, you have to watch each scene repeatedly!. Can kinda kill the anime, honestly!. And it helps to know at least a little Japanese so you're more certain of where to put the lines!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well yeah of course you would have to know the language otherwise you wouldnt be able to sub it right!. some words have several meanings so you would have to know how it would translate!. and i imagine it would be very hard to do because they speak so fast!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
