Am I The Only One That Is Like This?!

Question: Am I The Only One That Is Like This!?
When I am reading a manga series, I have to actually go out and buy the manga to read it!. Yes, I know I am spending money when I can read it online for free, but reading it online just doesn't do it justice!. I have to have it in my hands to really get into it!.

Anyone else do this!?!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

You're not not the only one, you can see half of my collection here

I completely agree with you!. I start most of the series from manga!. I only knew the existence of onemanga early this year!. I think the only manga I have to read online right now is Liar Game because they don't have manga volume yet!. I used to read One Piece online but now I realized I lose some of the thrill and the fun factor of collecting the manga volume!. Now I've stopped reading the series online, I only got into chapters 504 if I'm not mistaken!. The current volume (Vol 50) only covered up Thriller Bark arc, which mean I have to wait at least 3-4 Volume to get into the current chapters/arc!.

I also avoid spoiler, I don't read other manga that already in my collection, I'll just wait for the next volume to come out to continue the reading process!.

There's some exception with Hunter X Hunter though, because the series currently on hiatus, and the current volume (Vol 25) only covered up to chapters 270 (whereas they already has 280 chapters online), I have to read it online!. Actually I had to wait 2 years in a gap between Vol 22 to Vol 23 back then!.!.!.!.

There's actually some benefit from buying the manga volume because there's always something extra they put in it!. Naruto has something like character drawing contest where the mangaka will choose the best drawing and re-drawn the character!. One Piece has SBS and some other extra stuff (ie; Thousand Sunny sketch, his raw sketch etc), Hunter X Hunter has re-drawn stuff (as you can see the chapter they had online is in bad quality), FMA has comic strip and I could go on and on about the extra they put on certain manga but I'm too lazy to type!.!.!.

What more important, at least by supporting the original products showed how much we respect the mangaka works!. Plus, I don't really like to read by clicking next button and sit in front of my laptop all day!. I can basically take out a certain series I wanted whenever I want to!. Right now I've been re-reading Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest Dai No Daiboken!. Just wanted to goes back to 90's where those series rules my childhood!.!.!.!.

Anyway, high five man! Glad someone already actually supporting the original products!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I only read manga on the Internet that isn't out in the U!.S!. As soon as it comes out here, and I like it, I'll go buy it!. I like doing this because it gives me a preview of what I'm buying, so, if that book is crap, I can get something else I like!.

But, I think the problem with reading manga online is that you don't really own it!. If you buy the book, you can actually hold it in your hands!. It transfers from being an image displayed on a screen to a solid object!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Personally, I actually prefer reading it online!. If its a really good series and I want to make sure they keep printing it, I'll buy it and still download it to read on my screen!. Its just so much clearer and nicer on a screen, and you never lose anything down in the binding because Tokyo Pop never heard of margins!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes, i totally do that!. i was reading naruto and i know u can see it on www!.onemanga!.com but i just had to buy it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think manga cartoons are for japaneese and emos but I know what you mean!. I would much rather go out and buy a CD rather than download it free from the internet (Im spending alot more money but its better for some reason)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well you sound like me!
Somehow holding the manga in your hand feels way better than clicking the mouse!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

lol, same EXACT thing here!!

My friend's call me weird for it! But I feel like I'm not really reading it if I do it online!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I never read mangas online!. So I think I get your point!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
