make a Yahoo! 360 account, then your primary picture there will be your avatar here, but you'll have to click that circle thingy in your Edit Profile, on which picture!.

when you're done with your 360 account, and you uploaded pictures, of course you'll have to choose your main photo!. Pick the one that you would want as your avatar here!.
ok after that!.!.
click on Edit My Info
then there's Nickname, then PICTURE!.
In Picture, choose the "Use my Yahoo! 360 Picture"!.
then on the very botom, click Preview
then click OK
and there you go!!
