I know that they appear similar so far, but they really aren't once you get further into the story!.
True Blood is based on the Southern Vampire book series by Charlaine Harris!. The tv show will only cover the first book!. Much more happens later in the book series, and as of book 8 Sookie isn't even dating that vampire any more!.
Charlaine Harris's book series began several years before Twilight, so maybe Stephanie Meyer is ripping her off, as well as several other authors!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
