Answers:
The new Deal or No Deal is a new daytime version!. Since it does not air in primetime like the hour long, million dollar version, it has smaller dollar amounts and less cast (most likely due to a smaller budget than the primetime version)!. The hour long primetime version still airs on NBC though with all the models and the million dollars cases!. The first person to win a million dollars actually won this season and aired on September 1st!.

It's kind of like how the daytime version of "The Price is Right" has top prizes around $20k-$30k while the primetime version gave away prizes in the $100k range and even a chance to win a million dollars!. Shows that air on primetime typically get more viewers so advertisers pay more money to have their ads aired, and that allows the gameshows to give away higher top prizes and bigger budgets!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
