I didn't watch the anime, however in the manga, on the fist chapter, when Aikawa get into the class, his teacher, Himuro told him to sit besides Fujiwara!. That's the first time Aikawa heard the name!.
So he probably knows the name from Himuro!. Simple!.
also, Aikawa only knows that Fujiwara is a basketball player after he asked about Basketball club to the class!.!.!.
