Okay the shows hilarious i mean amazing and sometimes really deep i love the show but my mom finds it inappropriate and racist so she won't let me get the seasons on dvd!. what do you guys think of the show

I'm an old white guy from Wyoming, and I like "Boondocks" a great deal!. It is a pity that your mother won't let you buy DVDs of the series, and I don't think she really gets the humor or some of the underlying messages!. I don't think it is racist, so much as it makes fun of racism which is not the same thing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
you know i am really torn!. it seems like if the show were 10 minutes long it would be great!. sometimes it delves into deeper, hard to analyze social problems, but usually in the middle of the episode or so just gets ridiculous and blown out of proportion!. i also think that the satire of the show goes over most people's heads and just sends racist messages anyway!. i feel bad if i laugh at something when i know that i shouldnt!. and i find it painful the way they really gratuitously use the n word etc just cuz they can get away with it!. it explores some important stuff but the way they put it out and the final product is really imperfet and offensive most of the time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it's a great show!. entertaining, well-written, controversial, and McGruder is from my hometown =P
