Question: Is it wrong to be turned on by anime!?
Recently I had watched a anime with is very ecchi parts in the show!. I had always thought it funny that some people would watch these and be turned on by it, but this one particular anime show slightly turned me on!. Is this fuked up in a way or is it commonly normal to be turned on by good quality hentai anime!? (very little nudity just obvious showing of cleavage and what not)
I had read somewhere that the sounds alone and things said by the characters could possibly be the cause, and not entirely the art it self!.

Whether or not it's wrong is a moral question, which you should ask yourself!. If you aren't hurting anyone, and it doesn't interfere with your life then I don't think you should be worry about it!.
It is very common, look at how much hentai there is!. If it was uncommon to get turned on there wouldn't be so much of it!.
I'm not into hentai, the Western definition of the word at least!. I usually find it silly or boring, but I'm a girl and not exactly the target audience!. I love yaoi though and I have drama cds (voice actors without animation) that are much hotter than some anime I have, so it's definitely true that sound alone can be a turn on!. Stories can be a turn on too, or manga for that matter!. So it's not just sound!. You have to remember that your brain will find all sorts of different things a turn on and nudity, real or artistic, is in no way the only thing that should be able to turn you on!. Reading something, imagining something, looking at something can all be turn ons!. Anime combines fantasy while at the same time involves your imagination filling in the details that it doesn't have meaning that your brain can add in all the things you wish were there!.
On the other hand it is true some people just can't wrap their heads around animated characters!. I know people who can't read comics or manga or even comic strips because they just don't have the imagination or whatever it's needed to appreciate drawings like that!. Being able to see an animated character and having emotions around it, I think just points to your creativity and nothing else!. i myself am not into that type of anime because i find it a bit vulgar when it focuses on the subject particularly but its okay!. I mean you a person can find "happiness" in shows and actors like that then why not anime!? I do though like Japanese male character like Tamaki from OHSHC because the characters are developed to be liked in that sorta way!. Its completely okay but if you feel weird about it then why watch it!?
