What has happened to Cartoon Network?!?!
Question: What has happened to Cartoon Network!?!!?
I mean it used to be great with Toonami and Adult Swim playing plenty of anime!. Some of the anime in my DVD collection has been introduced to me by that channel: Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tenchi Muyo!, Wolf's Rain,Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away!.
But, now they play a lot of junk and Toonami's gone! Adult Swim doesn't play as much anime as they used to, and has moved their new show Moribito to the 5:30 AM slot (in other words, when I can't watch it because i need sleep)! They won't show it again until October 5th either! And, while I do know about toonamijetstream!.com, they don't play as much good stuff as they should!. I like Naruto and kinda like their shows Kiba and Samurai Jack (I'm glad that they started playing that again), but the rest is terrible! I'm about to complain to adultswim!.com!.

Hurray! I know how feel!. Things started to go downhill for me with them when they moved!.!.!.cut back the time slot for Toonami (idiots!) Then things got weird when AdultSwim started going haywire!. They had some awesome shows but when they started playing them at odd times it just got frustrating!. It seems now, that if I want an anime fix I have to tune in to Ani-Monday just to catch a good anime (that's on SciFi)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Cartoon Network went to crap about three or four years ago when they took off Toonami from the weekly showing!. Then they started adding a lot of horrible shows(they even took off The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Looney Tunes) that only five year olds would like!. I still watch Adult Swim when I can though for Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hungerforce, and Robot Chicken!. They need to do something about their channel because it has lost everything about it that was good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
who knows!. i used to love watching pokemon and sailor moon on there but they rarely show the older seasons of pokemon and sailor moon doesn't even come on anymore!. and i'm with everyone else on the fact that it was cartoon network that intoduced me to anime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I do miss the old toonami!. Me and my brother were mad when they take it off!. We use to watch all the time!. But now I only watch cartoon network for ben 10 and the anime!. Even thought I'm in high school!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I dont know whats going on with the channel but you can get yourself a dvr so you can watch the shows that you like and they still play!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Cartoon Network is a business!. To make money
They are owned by Time Warner Inc!.
If they aren't making the money they want to, they change things up to experiment and see what makes more!.
They get more viewers that means more companies will want to buy commercial times slots and pay more money for the slots because they are higher in demand!. They are competing for viewers with Nickelodeon, many different Disney channels, and other TV stations!. So sometimes they feel they have to change things up so that they can gain new viewers and keep current ones!. But they can't please everyone!.
Complaining would help, but if you and a few hundred other's complain that's not going to be enough for them to make major changes!. If you want make a really big effort, start an online petition, get a whole bunch of people to sign it that believe the same as you do!. Then send it to Cartoon Network!.

i feel old becuz i keep telling younger kids that the cartoons they watch are garbage!.
flapjack is too stupid for me to pay attention, and its not good for the kids growing up, they are going to act like idiots!.
i only like when chowder screams, because its funny to me!.
i miss the old cartoons like johnny bravo, cow+chicken, and all the animes!.

I am with ya!. The old Toonami with Tom on his spaceship was great!. Toonami is basically what introduced me to anime!. Rurouni Kenshin, DragonBall Z, and so many more were on there!.
And now the new one is a joke!. The best show they have is Naruto, which sucks dubbed anyway!. Adult Swim barely shows any anime at all!. Death Note, Bleach, and Code Geass are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head!. Most of the shows they have now are pointless!. Robot Chicken has its funny bits, but it is mostly just retarted!.
So alot of people are asking, "What will it take to make Adult Swim better!?" Well I have the answer!. I have always thought they should make an anime of Metal Gear Solid!. With some good CGI animation and some good action, I think it could be very good!. It would be a perfect addition for Adult Swim!.
