it doesn't say who tarou ends up with, but the girl ends up with the teacher who lived with her (sorry i forgot the names), and it turns out he was the person who gave her the bear a long time ago!. I wasn't too happy with the ending, because the teacher-dude was going to marry another girl, until the other girl dumped him on the day of their wedding, and i feel sad for tarou!. i know a lot of people really liked the ending though!.
