Question: Ending of "the girl who leapt through time"!?
I just finished watching it, and I didn't really understand the ending!. Why did Chiaki go back to the future!? Are they going to meet again!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

It means that Chiaki will return to his time and look for the future self of Makoto!. Makoto will continue to live without Chiaki, "running" towards the time when they can someday meet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i don't think they'll meet each other again!.since the guy will be going back to his time and the girl will never remember him again!.this is from the 1983 movie version!.the girl forget everything about the guy and everyone around her as well!.but somehow she can remember the smell of the fav flower and she really like it as well!.the two did meet again but they never spoke to each other!.the girl can't remember him and they just pass of each other in the laboratory she work!.try the movie version as well!.it's pretty good as well!.and the main girl sing the themesong for the movie!.the song is really nice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
