Brother in law died and left thousands of comic books What is the best way to ea!

Question: Brother in law died and left thousands of comic books What is the best way to earn money for his widow by sale!?
My brother in law died last week and the family wanted to have a yard sale and dispose of his saved 15 boxes plastic covered preserved comic books!. My husband said no and tried to save as much as he could in an attempt to try to sell them and send the profits from the sale to his widow!. My question is where is the best way for us to sell the items!. Many of the comics have been signed by the creators of the comics!.They have redeeming valuable!. Where would be the best place to sell the comet books!? Would you sell them individually or as a case full rate!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Absolutely do NOT sell them in a yard sale!!! I'm sure some to most of those have a great value!.
Go to a bookstore (Barnes and Noble, etc!.) and purchase a comic book catalog that gives you values of comics!. This will help you get the value of the comic!.
Then, go to a collector!.
Don't just "get rid of them" because you'll just be cheating yourself and cheating you late brother in law!. He spent years and thousands of dollars collecting those!.
Think thousands of dollars in return!. Don't go the hundreds route!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You could probably get more money if you sell them independently instead of in a bundle on ebay, or you can go to a comic book store and they will buy them off you but make sure you know or at least act like you know what you are selling they might try to tell you there not worth much when they actually are

I would take them to a collector's store or a comic book shop!. Do a http://www!.yellowpages!.com/ search to find these types of dealers/collectors in your area!. This way, you'll find the people most appreciative and respectful of the books and likely get the highest amount for them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The best way is to seperate the rare from the common!. It's probably gonna take a lot of research, asking online!. Sell the rare ones individually, and the common ones in bunches!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Do NOT go to a comic book store!. You WILL get ripped off!. I've had several friends make that mistake!.

Best bet - eBay them!. Takes more time, but the listing fee is only !.25 each auction!. You could sell them in lots of 5 or 10!. But look for first editions!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well it really depends on what comic books they are!. You could try selling them on ebay!. But before i do that i would get a professional to check the value of them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

why would u sell those!? obviously he treasured those comic books! but if you really want to know, it depends on what year they were made and which comic book it was!. although if it has the signature id guess around!.!.!. a lot Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with Kira Kira

WHY WOULD YOU SELL THOSE!!?!?!Www@Enter-QA@Com

hire a valuer to determine if they are worth anything!. then go form there!.

Sorry for your lossWww@Enter-QA@Com

I would do it on Ebay auction !.and start them out individually!. My son had comic books from when he was a kid & he is only 31 now & posted them at first 3 at a time , & was getting $300 + And one of the buyers only needed 1 of them to update his collection& offered 150 for just that 1!. ( I should have such money to spend on a comic book!.) My son's books were not In plastic covers, but were in good condition!. so I would think this this would be a good place to start , also doing them individually , if you you aren't getting a good price , leaves you more to work with!. Sorry about your loss! God Bless P!.S!. make sure you describe them adequately, with signatures & all Good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com
