Ok i've just watched the anime!. And i can't express my frustration! Argh! Firstly what is the point in takadas kidnapping!? Which led to hers and Mellos death!. What the hell is with the notebooks and the fake notebooks!? Who gives up possession of which notebook when!? Talk about over complicating it! Stupid! I did enjoy parts, but only parts, not the thing as a whole!. If someone could just give me a quick simple synopsis of the last few episodes that would be grand!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was complicated because the entire point of the show was a battle of wits between geniuses!. You are supposed to be pretty much following along with both of them, seeing what they are doing but not understanding why until the other one finds out about it!.
There were only two fake Notes!. One was the one Light had Mikami make when he ordered Mikami to give Takeda pages from the Note (so she could keep killing as Kira) and hide the Note somewhere!. Light was expecting Near to figure out Mikami was the new second Kira (X-Kira, as Near called him, to keep him seperate from Kira #2 [Misa] and Kira #3 [the guy from Yotsuba])!. Since Light wouldn't be free to use the Note on Near when they met, he needed to make sure that Mikami would have his Note there!. As such, Light wanted the real Note to be hidden, but wanted to keep up appearances that Mikami had and was using the real Note!. (The other fake Note was the one Near had Geovanni make after discovering Mikami's real Note!.)
Takeda's kindapping threw Light's plan out of whack, though!. Firstly, it would have prevented Takeda from doing Mikami's killings for him!. But more importantly, it made Mikami panic!. When Mikami saw the report of her kidnapping on the news, he knew she had to be killed to keep her from telling the secrets of Kira!. But he also believed (correctly) that the only reason Kira gave him the power to kill was because Kira was in a situation where he was not free to use that power!. As such, he came to the conclusion that *he* had to kill Takeda, violating an order Kira had given him about not making any unnecessary moves!. It turns out, Light had plans for doing an occasional necessary killing to protect himself; he just couldn't do the large-scale killings that created the persona of Kira anymore!.
So Mikami went to the bank to get the Note out of the safe deposit box and kill Takeda!. But Near already have Geovanni tailing Mikami for months, and they had realized that Mikami had a meticulous routine to his life (Mikami clearly had either OCD or Asperger's Syndrome, probably a fairly severe case of Asperger's), and this trip to the bank violated that routine: it was the wrong day of the month!. They knew something was up, so after Mikami was done at the bank, they went in to investigate his safe deposit box and discovered the real Note with Takeda's name in it!. Near had Geovanni make a fake note copy of it, and swap the fake note for the real Note!. At this point, Near knows what Light's plan was for their upcoming meeting, and he knows that he has beaten Light!.
But that entry of Takeda's name in Mikami's Note proves to be even more significant, as the time listed for it was wrong!. It occured after her death (and though this isn't ever mentioned, her fiery death makes no sense with Mikami's entry), so he couldn't have been the one to kill her (solidifying that Mikami is not the only Kira)!. She could only have been killed by a different Note-wielder: the original Kira!. This didn't prove Light was Kira, but with everything else pointing to him, combined with Light jumping the gun by saying "I win, Near" and Mikami obeying Light without hesitation and referring to him as "God" at the meeting in the warehouse, it left no doubt!.

Watch the show again, is what i would recommend!.
I have rewatched the series 3 times, and after the first time, I'll admit I was confused about some things, but when I watched it again, I had those "OH!" moments of something I didn't notice the first time!. And everything kind of falls into place and makes sense like a puzzle when you rewatch it!.
I think that the show is amazing, very unique and well written!. intense, and it really gets you thinking!. I know that in my head the entire time, I had my mind running like crazy to think of the possibilities and solutions to everything that was going on!.
I've never watched an anime that was as compelling as Death Note!.

You just don't understand how it really is,this is the very first anime I found a liking to, it has a plot, a story, a detective thing, and also it has that suspense thing that wants you to watch even more!

okay the last episodes are when N has already known the guy who has the deathnote now and knows what he does and his schedule, N sent a spy to take pics of who he wrote in the deathnote and like on the last episode light told misa to stay in the hotel while he takes care of some business so he went to meet N and the rest of his group and N tells them that the guy with a deathnote will come peak sees everyone and knows their names(cuz he got shinigami eyes) (for those of u who dont know what shinigami is its gods of death) but it turns out the night before they met up N made a fake deathnote and switched notes and now N has the real one and the guy has the fake!. So now the guy came he peaked at the door(everyone in the building knows he there peaking to kill them)(and also N told them that the name the guy doesnt write in the fake is kira!. So the guy writes the names down!. Light counts down(light wasnt listening when N was explaining that the deathnote the guy has is a fake) till everyone dies and stops himself from laughing it down to the last minute light made a mistake saying N you lose u weren't a least bit smart like L and then 6 minutes pass light is like WTF!!!! they are suppose to die!! but then N explains to light that the deathnote the guy has is a fake and then N finds out that kira is light because he looks at the deathnote and the guy is stupid saying kira forgive and lights like i'll never forgive ur so stupid!!! and light takes out a bit of the deathnote from his watch and everyone sees him take it out to kill N and shoots him light runs out screaming misa misa !!! come here but he told her to stay at the hotel and goes into a building and ryuuk writes lights name in his deathnote and light dies and it looks like misa committed suicide by jumping off a building cuz light died and shes thinks light loves her so much he died for her and she is blinded by love she does that!. and then the rest of the public stays the same and nothing like that will ever happen it seems
