I was way too little when Rocky and Bullwinkle was on the air to remember the details!. All I remember is two Russians that hated a moose and squirrel and were dead set on destroying them!.

Actually, Boris and Natasha weren't Russian, they were from Pottsylvania!.
The series was developed during the height of the cold war!. "Fearless Leader", wanted to rule the world and Boris and Natasha were his front line to make that happen!. Rocky and Bullwinkle foiled their every attempt!.
The parallel was, of course, that Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader were "bad" and Rocky and Bullwinkle were "good" just as the Soviet Union was "bad" and the US was "good"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
