Question: What are Blue Gender and Shuffle! Are they good anime!?
I want to try a new Funimation anime and found these!. I know they're romance series but I don't have any good sources for feedback!.

Shuffle is a harem, comedy, romance anime!. A high school guy surrounded by a bunch of girls who love him!. It's kind of cute- but nothing groundbreaking for its genre!. The hook of this series is that there are gods and demons (they just have longer ears than everyone else) living along side humans!.
Blue Gender is a fun series!. As the above poster said, it's a rather serious sci-fi mecha anime!. The basic plot is that a bunch of alien bugs have taken over Earth, and mankind wants to get it back!. It's a more mature anime in that main characters die, and relationships incorporate a level of sex!.
Shuffle ended well if you like the 1 girl he chose out of 5+ possible contenders!. Blue Gender had a kind of blarg last story arc- but the very, very end (last 5 minutes) were quite enjoyable and left me satisfied!.

Shuffle!'s funny!. Not sure if you'd like it tho!. I see it as mostly a girl anime!.
