Question: Help me with some anime suggestions!?
I'm not into the teeny-bop, massively popular anime like Naruto, Inu-Yasha (although I liked the Manga and I love Rumiko Takahashi) and things like that!.!.!.I like gripping, dark, smart, romantic or thought provoking anime like Blood +, Elfen Lied, Paradise Kiss, Ghost in the Shell and Full Metal Panic!. I guess you could more or less say "more adult" type series!. Can anyone fill me in on any anime that just completely amazed them like that in one way or another, and could you add why you like it so much!? Thank you!! =)

If by "not on cartoon network" You're including all the anime on Adult Swim, then you're down to a rather narrow pool!. Pretty much all the anime worth seeing is right there!.
I'd recommend Hellsing, first and foremost (I haven't watched the anime, but the manga is incredible)!. The !.Hack anime is also rather good (I think it's on Adult Swim, but it's rather hard to catch)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
