Think of it this way!. Say you work with Mr!. Kent, and you've only ever known him as this meek, shy guy with a hopeless crush on the star reporter!. Considering you've only ever seen Superman on TV, or possibly on a chance flyby, would you ever suspect poor little Clark could be the one-and-only Man of Steel!? No way!.
