I used the demo version of easy video capture to get the clips but it is only a trail version for free!. i still managed to get hell of a load of material though and it seems like a lot longer than 30 days you have it for so try that the link is below!. a free music downloading site is also below!.
After i got the speed right which took me weeks to realize how to or even that you could i recorded the first two episodes of kiba, 6 or 7 episodes of furuba, lots of clips of ayame, momiji and hiro, the first episode of gintama, 3 episodes of code geass, 5 episodes of d!.n angel, and finally, 2 episodes of chrono crusade!. so you an record a lot!.
plez note: though that every-time you stop it you have to click on save and start recording another file [just type in new name] else it will write over what you have just recorded [oops!!! it was so annoying XD]
also the best speed [that i found] is:
On the drop down advanced profile
VQ:100
KF/sec!.:100
RI:100
AVI PR (frame per sec!.):15

No, YouTube accepts AVI and MPEG video, not AMV video, if you don't know how to convert video to Youtube compatible video, here is a step by step guide for you
