Banned Cartoons or Episodes?!

Question: Banned Cartoons or Episodes!?
My 7 year old brother said he sometimes watches cartoons with swearing in, like Spongebob Sqaurepants or The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy!.
He said in Spongebob, they say it, but with the 'beep' tone over it!. Is this true!? Are there cartoons which have been banned completely or episodes!? I tried to find a list, but they're all from the 1930s - 1940s, Betty Boop being a cartoon banned completely, so it said!.
Cartoons he watches on TV now:

-Ben 10
-Loonatics
-Best Ed
-Ed, Edd and Eddy
-Pokemon
-Loony Tunes
- Dragonball Z (on the Internet since it's not on TV anymore, can anyone explain why this is!? It's been off TV for 8 years now but I showed him on the Internet and he really enjoys it)

Answers:
2 episodes of pokemon were banned that i know of!. 1 was an episode that landed pokemon in the guiness book of world records where after red flashing lights were shot from pikachu's eyes, over 2000 japanese kids got epileptic fits after the show!.

The other was when Ash Ketchum, the main character, wandered into a safari zone and caught 12 taurus, that was banned because there were machine guns in the show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some episodes that depicts swearing or a bad word these days usually subsitute it in with a funny phrase or word to hide the actual swear word!. In the past I think that they did switch out words, but they also put mostly beep in place of them!.

As for Dragonball z, this show has been on since 1994 or less or later, mostly in the 90s and early 2000s!. The franchise completely stop airing on normal television in 2004 or 2005 around that when GT ended, DBZ initially ended in 02 or 03!. With the new shows on tv now adays, DBZ is becoming a classic anime to watch, but its only on special channels like funamation or the internet!. In all DBZ is not on tv anymore because most people of the 90's generation, has seen it and it is not getting or would not get as many viewers as before, (because all episodes would be reruns)!.

But I hightly reccommend that you let your brother continue watching it on the internet, its still a popular anime, (not popular enough for normal tv, but still popular)Www@Enter-QA@Com
