we haven't seen much of Zetsu's abilities!.!.!. All he's been good for is Info gathering and devouring the dead ones!.!.!.!. This is just a guess but I believe he may be the one who set up the traps for team Gai!.!.!. when they pulled the seals off of the Akatsuki hideout!.!.!.!. making them fight with clones!.!.!.
Gaara now doesn't have Shuukaku!.!.!. But we know that he can still manipulate sand!.!.!.!. He may no longer have his automatic absolute defense!.!.!. but he may fight well!.!.!.!.
