Question: Why is Candy's hand messed up in of Mice and Men!?
In Of Mice and Men, I read that Candy's hand was messed up!. I lost my place in the book and now I forgot why that is!. If somebody could please clarify this for me it would be greatly appreciated!.

A website I just found said he lost it in a "ranch accident" but if I remember correctly he got it stuck in a threshing machine or something like that!.
