Question: In the anime Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn, does the main character ever become strong without his tutor's help!?
Please no spoilers!. Just say like, yes or no or yes-it-will-come-soon or whatever!. Just don't tell me when he will!.
So, again, did he ever do something by himself instead of relying with the upgrade bullets that Reborn shoots on him!? They always cheat, yes it's cheating when Reborn gives him the powerups!.

Okay~ back to your q!.
The main character, Tsuna will become stronger, after trained by Reborn of course!. He still needs the Dying Will Bullet to be in the Hyper Mode but then he will gain a new power, the X Gloves!.
It's a super cool power & Tsuna looked so different in appearance when he activates the X Gloves!. His eye turned into orange coloured & looks so handsome! *cough* And later on, Basil gave him some Dying Will pills that allows him to turn into Dying Will Mode without having Reborn to shoot him!.
So basically, he'll get strong without the help of Reborn!. In the Future Arc, it was Hibari who trained him to become stronger than he is now!. But Tsuna will get a bit weak if Reborn is not around him!. Mainly coz before this, Reborn is always by his side when he fights but there is one time that Reborn's not by his side & Tsuna nearly lost to Lal Mirch (but thank God Lal is an ally!. She do mocks that Tsuna is only a half man if there's no Reborn tho)
And haha, Tsuna HAVE to depend on the Dying Will Bullet to become extra strong!.!.!.!. but I don't take it as cheating ^^

!.!.!. and YES the story will get more interesting after this!. First, there's the Kokuyo Gangs Arc, when Rokudo Mukuro & his gangs attacked some Namimori students (Kusakabe Tetsuya, Sasagawa Ryohei, Gokudera Hayato, Yamamoto Takeshi & Hibari Kyoya) to lure Tsuna out!. This is the part when Tsuna gets extra strong!.
after that there's the Varia Arc!. OMG I can't stop now!.!.!. I'm so sorry about these spoilers!!!! >< some professional assasins are after Tsuna & his family (Hibari, Gokudera, Yamamoto, Ryohei, Lambo, Mukuro & Chrome) & they have this amazing battle~ I liek Squalo so much~!~!~! and after that comes the Future Arc where all the Guardians (Hibari, Gokudera, Yamamoto, Ryohei, Lambo, Mukuro & Chrome) are transported to the Future with the 10 Year Bazooka!.!.!.and !.!.!. you know what!? I need to stop here!. Can't control myself any longer!.!.!.
