Question: What statement was Tezuka Osamu trying to make with "Jumping"!?
This video is from 1985 and I'm trying to get some different views of what the producer, Tezuka Osamu was trying to express with this particular film!. It's pretty short and very entertaining, so please watch and tell me what you think!.

First of all, thank you for sharing a piece by that great artist!. I've been thinking about his Astro-Boy and Kimba, the White Lion a lot lately, and that was just a great reminder of what a wonderful artist he was!.

He was also, apparently, a spiritual (I don't know whether or not to say devout) man who as the Father of Anime was simply trying to provide wholesome entertainment which reflected real values!. This is very clearly intended for adults (with the naughty bits) but it seems to illustrate the cycle of rebirth -- when the fantastic child who is the point of view character is killed in the War Zone, he is simply sent back to where he started his journey from!.

Given the plots of Tetsuan Atom and Jungle Tatei (the TV series I mentioned above in their American bowdlerizations) it's not a surprising subject for him!. Nor is this lack of information about his protagonist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
