Ed gets his body back in the last episode but then he sacrifices himself to save Al, thus Al gets his body back but Ed ends up in another dimension minus his right hand and left leg again!! It's to be assumed, as deduced from the movie, that Ed never really gets back his whole body again though Al stays a normal human for the rest of his life!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Al will get his bodies back with some help by his dad, because hohenheim has confess to them that he was the philosopher stone they've been search for years, and Al will get through the "gate" for gaining his bodies back by the help from Ed (who had went there before) but the family won't united because Ed is in the world of the "gate", trapedWww@Enter-QA@Com

Toward the end of the anime (the last episode), Ed dies, then Al revives him (he is the philosopher's stone) then in return Ed brings Al back!. Ed is shown alive, but in another world!.(he's in Earth!.)
So yeah!. Both of them did get their bodies back!. But Ed still has only one arm while Al regains his body--but the body is at the same age as the time he lost it!.
