Question: Why do many say that Sponge-bob is Inappropriate!?
ok so i keep hearing from people that the tv show Sponge-Bob is inappropriate for kids to watch, but why!?
like i don't see the "inappropriateness" of it!.!.!.!?

Its because parents watching the show noticed some aspects of it to be "sexual innuendos"!. My writing teacher was telling us how she won't let her son watch it because of the "sick" things she's noticed!. Here are some of the things she mentioned to us:
Since the town they live in is called "Bikini Bottom" it all takes place in a girls lower half!.
That SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward are all homosexual!. For example, the clam episode when SpongBob and Patrick are mother and father to a clam!.
Mr!. Crabs is an innuendo of an STD (crabs obviously)
SpongeBob is an innuendo of a "sponge/maxipad"
Squidward is an innuendo of a sperm
Sandy Cheeks is an innuendo of a butt
The Glove World episode is an innuendo of condoms
The episode with the Alaskan Bull Worm (they call it "big, scary, and pink!") is an innuendo of a penis
These are just a few of what my teacher mentioned!. It seems quite ridiculous that people find such things just watching a show with their kids but that's what Americas come to!. I hope this has enlightened you on why its being called inappropriate!. I disagree because its not like kids would ever pick up on these things anyways, but there are always people that will find something wrong with the most innocent things (like a children's TV show)!. It's not really inappropriate :/
Like I've grown up watching Spongebob and I loved it!.
Sure sometimes it's kind of creepy!. Not "Holy **** I am going to have nightmares" creepy, but like spongebob losing his arm or things that you can't do in your life or else you'll be dead!. I am a teen, but sometimes I get creeped out!. Like that episode where Spongebob sells everything so that he can get this godly spatula!. XD Then he goes to the hospital and you see his old spatula there and moving!. Creeped me out o0
There are many inside jokes as well!. Like there are things that adults would get, but children would consider funny but they wouldn't understand the full meaning to it!.
Kids love Spongebob, there's nothing bad about it!.
But just children need to face the reality of it, don't let them end up drowning in the beach thinking they'll find Sponebob!. (I remember hearing about that years before it was horrifying but in a way I blamed the parents)
I think kids need to be taught that it is just an animation!. It's for entertainment or else something bad can happen and they would think they'll be able to breathe under water or pull off their arm or something like that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know SpongeBob Squarepants is a stupid show, and yet, it's suppose to be goofy despite the fact that "some" episodes have gross out moments such as squidward getting cut in half by scissors or seeing the inside of SpongeBob's skeleton body!. In retrospect, many programs are deemed "Inappropriate" and yet get away with some factors!. Regardless if it's Disney shows making fun of homeless people or gays while stereotyping skin colors!. Frankly, many of the old shows from Nickelodeon had stuff that you never see in many kids show today but got away with it in the past like "Are You Afraid of the Dark" using human sacrifice, an episode where a kid flipped the middle finger with a rubber nose hidden to be subtle or "Ren and Stimpy" with its wacky violence!.

Sponge bob is not inappropriate! It's very creative! I love sponge-bob and there's nothing weird about him loosing his limbs or Patrick and his relationship (yes, i've heard the sly remarks)!. It's a funny show but i haven't watched any of the episodes lately because they've become extremely silly!. Though kids might find it humorous, i remember the first sponge-bob episodes when the plot was funny like the episode where he ordered that big tv and only use the box for his 'imagination'!.

Psh, my little cousins aren't allowed to watch it, because it's "inappropriate"!. My aunt says it's because Patrick and Spongebob are bad examples, hitting each other, talking weird!.!.!.I don't really know!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
