Question: Can anyone recommend good manga/anime for my tastes!?
I like a wide range of types like Death Note, Fruits Basket, Bleach, Ah My Goddess, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Tsubasa and XXX Holic with a good mixture of humour, romance, action, controversy and ACTION and just plain pointlessness - Types i generally try and stay away from are sci fi and ones where the entire plotline is based around giant robots taking over the universe :P any suggestions much appreciatedWww@Enter-QA@Com

Ouran High School Host Club 26 eps *****
This is my absolute FAVORITE series!. It's funny, a bit romantic, and the art & music are gorgeous!. It'll make you rofl - litterally!. It's basically reverse Harem, but the main lead (Haruhi - girl), isn't a brain dead bubbly girl like most anime!. She smart, level-headed, and a bit insensitive!. She's a transfer student into an All-rich high school (but she is not)!. These are her adventures with the fabulous Host Club!. The manga is still ongoing and goes farther than the anime!. It's good too
Lovely Complex 26 eps *****
This is funny, quirky, and all about romance!. Risa is a tall girl, and Otani is that short boy!. Together love will start to bud - or will it!? These two can't stand each other and are constantly bickering!. But then when each falls in love with someone else, they agree to help each other!. This is an unlikely friendship and as the episodes go on they grow closer and closer to each other!. Great show! I'm reading the manga, and it's awesome! I'm not sure if it goes past the anime yet, though!.
Full Metel Alchemist 52 eps *****
This series is more dark at times, but it has tons of humor to even it out!. No romance, really!. This is about two boys, who are traveling to find the Philosoper's stone, because they are "handicapped"!. While trying to revive their mother from the dead with alchemy, Edward lost his arm and leg, and his brother lost his entire body!. Edward, without his hand and leg, quickly attached his brother's soul to a suit of armor!. With the philosoper's stone, Edward believes he can get his brother's body back, which is all that matters to him!. Likewise of Alphonse, the younger brother, just wants to get his brother's arm and leg bag!. This is a tale of their woeful journey, filled with action, humor, plot-twists, and other goodies!. I really recomend this! There's also a second season, but is supposed to be completely different, based more off the manga!.!.!. I haven't read the manga, but I plan to!.

Hatenkou Yuugi 10eps - ****
This anime is really refreshing!. It's got great lead characters, that aren't common in anime!. There's Rahzel, a quirky, loveable female lead that doesn't take anything from anyone (except her father!.!.), and she's funny to bood!. Then there's the mysterious and serious Alzeid, who Rahzel meets, as he's robbing someone, when her father kicks her out and tells her to go on a journey!. Along the way they somehow meet Broqoheat (the show isn't good at introducing characters), who's basically the strong, but idiotic person of the group!. Together these three go on an adventure!. The series leaves off on a cliff hanger, and there is no news of a second season yet!.!.!. but it's a good watch! I'm currently collecting the manga, (Dazzle), which seems to go beyond the anime, and also takes its time, since the anime seems a bit rushed!.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann ***** - SO GOOD!. Both dub and japanese!. It's primalrily a mehca series, but it goes beyond that!. I highly recomend it!. One of my favorites!.
Shugo Chara! - *** Pretty good, basically a magical girl series, very cute!. There's a second season called Shugo Chara! Doki! I haven't watched it yet!.
Vampire Knight ***** - Love this series! Vampires, action, twists and romance! Second season is Vampire Knight Guilty!.
DN Angel - **** I haven't seen this one in awhile, but I remember liking it very much!. It's about a boy who is cursed, and whenever he thinks about the girl he likes, he turns into Dark, a theif!. Romance!.
Rozen Maiden - **** Dolls fighting to kill each other and stuff!. It's cute and funny, with a dark side too!.
Spice and Wolf - ***** If you're looking for a series with a different from the ordinary female lead (Ditzy and everyone loves her), you'll want to check this out!. It's very smart, well-thought out and a good watch!. The male lead is pretty funny too!. Highly recomended!. There's a second season in the making, too!
Karin - **** Backwards vampire!.!.!. she gives blood instead of sucking it!. Lotsa romance and comedy!.
Itazura na Kiss - *** To me, it wasn't a bad watch!. A lot of people complain about either all of the characters, or all of the characters except the main female lead!. I didn't mind it!. All about High School romance, and even goes byond that!. Not that bad, but shouldn't be on the top of your list!.
Ghost Hunt - **** Scary stories! Main male lead is halarious in the way where he is always negative and serious!. This show takes it's sweet time per mystery, and isn't "a case a week" type of a thing, which adds to the overall effect!.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - ***** Crazy, wacky series that almost everyone's heard of!. It's an either like or love it series, but you should at least watch it!. There is a debate about the second season!. Originally there was one, but it was suspened, cancelled!? I don't really know!.
Kanon 2006 - **** Goes back and forth between comedy, depressing, and romance!. Not a bad series though!.
Lucky Star - *** Kinda random, made by the people who made The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya!. You sould watch haruhi before you watch this, since there's a lot of Haruhi refrences!.!.!. watch this if you're really bored!. But you sould see it sometime before you die!.!.!.
